The outrageous monster trucks of Feld Entertainment's wildly entertaining Monster Jam Tour have joined the groundswell of teams across the wide spectrum of motorsports switching to Holley EFI. More than 50 of the cartoonish 12,000-pound beasts are flying around stadiums and arenas all across the country, and a solid majority now reap the benefits of newly installed Holley EFI systems.

Performing acrobatic backflips and repeatedly slamming back to earth from 25 feet in the air punishes every inch of a monster truck, and night after night the Holley EFI-powered machines withstand that abuse and come back for more. "Monster Jam isn't NASCAR – we don't run into a wall and then send the truck back to the shop and bring out another one," said Feld Entertainment Senior Director of Monster Truck Operations Henry Cross. "These things really get beat on, and the survivability of Holley EFI has been amazing."

Standing a truck on its nose all night makes fuel delivery more critical than it is in perhaps any other form of motorsports, and Holley EFI is proving to be more than up to that challenge, too. "This isn't blasting down a drag strip for a few seconds or running wide open for 500 miles," Cross said. "These drivers are on-and-off the throttle, on-and-off the throttle the whole time, in the arenas even more than in the stadiums. The drivers can really feel the difference – most them felt it right away. In Monster Jam, you're really driving the truck with the throttle, and it’s an advantage for the more experienced drivers because with EFI, the smoother you are the better you're going to be. And now they can really concentrate on driving the truck because now they have a fuel system that can think faster than they can."
