The Charger nameplate was revived in 2006. With it came Dodge's first RWD sedan in 17 years, an all-new 5.7L Hemi powerplant with a 6.1L version fitted in the SRT-8, and a return to NASCAR. The days of front-wheel drive and emissions-choked V8s were gone as Mopar embarked on a new era with the new LX platform.

In 1983, Flowmaster® mufflers were conceived as a solution to a growing problem with sound issues at race tracks in California and beyond. In his successful effort to quiet race cars without reducing performance, our founder refused to accept the status quo of the day and instead pushed exhaust technology beyond common thinking.
