In 2000, Toyota decided it was time for some outside competition in the full-size truck segment. The Tundra was promptly named Truck of the Year by Motor Trend. The i-Force 4.7L V8 cranked out 260 horsepower and 315 lb/ft of torque which more than held its own with its contemporaries.
