Nice product at a nice price and really works

Installed this radiator into my wife's 2001 Mustang GT. I was a bit worried at first because it is so much thicker than stock and the ABS module is right behind the electric fan as it is. After removing the factory assembly, I easily unbolted the cooling fan from the stock unit and swapped it right onto the Frostbite. Everything lined up nicely. All the welds and the construction of the radiator is perfect. Since the radiator is much larger as mentioned, it did take a very slight amount of coaxing to get into place. Used a lubricant so the bottom pins would find their grommets and slide right in. The fan shroud does touch the abs module bracket a tiny bit but does not affect anything. The rod that hold up the overflow tank can be bent a little bit to make it fit better around the fan motor. The OEM wire harness that runs across the upper radiator support does hinder the the install of the upper radiator mounts but if you pull back on the radiator you can get the rubber grommets to stretch enough to bolt the mount on or you can relocate that harness. If you are looking to use the OEM transmission cooler lines you will need to buy 2x Dorman #47155. Car was previously running 190*-215* even with a 180* thermostat and turning the fans on sooner. After the radiator install and a high volume water pump we are now running 170*-190* even on 90* days.

Great Raidator!

I bought this radiator after having two CSF-2056 radiators fail to cool the engine. It cools better than the CSF-2056 by 50 degrees per a IR thermometer. The bottom of the radiator at the engine inlet hose was 128 degrees after driving the truck trying to overheat the engine. I can now run up hill 65MPH with the AC blasting in 100 degree plus heat without over heating. The engine runs a little cooler than a factory radiator per the dashboard gauge. Its about 3/8" taller but fits under the hood just barely. The factory fan guard fits but there is about 3/8" gap between the radiator and the fan guard. I filled the space with weather stripping. Once the engine heats up I get no signs of over heating. I did not put the frostbit radiator cap cover on because of the tight fit in the engine compartment. I had to call Holley to find out what radiator cap replacement for if and when I need to replace it. I was told a Mr Gasket 2481 or a standard large radiator cap. I also had to buy 1" long M6 bolts for the fan guard. The radiator was installed in a 93 Toyota 4X4 pickup V6 3.0 VZE.
