When installing the Sniper EFI, does it matter as to which exhaust port that the O2 sensor goes into? Also, does the system have the ability to read from both sides at the same time?

Answer
The ECU only has 1 oxygen sensor controller, so it can only detect one bank at a time. That being said, no it does not matter which side you place the sensor on. We recommend swapping the sensor from bank to bank during the initial startup/driving process, just to ensure both banks are consistent.

Easy job!

Finished installing. I read the directions several times before I began. Very simple installation if you follow the directions. Unfortunately the throttle body is slightly taller than the Holley carb it replaced. This puts the air cleaner a little too close to the hood so I am waiting for a 1" drop base for the air cleaner. I did go through the programming and have run the car. I noticed that the throttle response is much quicker than with the carb. The base I ordered is supposed to be in tomorrow so I can get it on the road and complete the programming. I will leave a follow up review afterwards.

Fantastic product! Installed the Kit in my restored 1977 Chevy C10 Suburban with a 454. Watched the video several times, read the instructions and BAM! I was amazed at the how easy the installation was. The install would have been about 5 hours (quicker next time), but had an overnight delay due to a visit to Summit Racing for a 1" Holley spacer and the optional in-line fuel pressure gauge. I couldn't believe how the engine started on the first crank and the digital monitor and sensors all came to life as designed...not a single glitch. Idle was smooth and consistent; throttle control was more responsive than my old QJ. I could not have asked for anything more (unless Holley wants to include the spacer in the kit). I highly recommend the Sniper EFI Kit.

I installed it on my 1986 Dodge Ram 360. It was easy to install didn't take any time at all to do. Runs better than the more expensive brands like MSD that friends of mine bought. Have told everyone I know to look in to buying one and showed them in my truck the performance is incredible. Thanks again Holley.

Installed, by myself, on my old Jeep truck in an afternoon, while enjoying a few beverages. Fired right up the first time. Not only does my engine run smoother and cleaner but, my mileage is nearly double what it used to be. (oversize carb installed by a previous owner) I will be installing another one on my crawler project truck, also.

Excellent fit and finish. Instructions were pretty thorough and tech support on the product was awesome. Would definitely purchase again. Huge increase in throttle response and hesitations and vapor locks my Edlebrock 750 had. Its just like driving a different car now. I also investigated a Fast EFI System & I found that the Holley had more to offer for the price comparison. I do not know why I did not change out my contributor for a this Holley EFI system a long time ago. If any one is looking into a EFI system for their classic car, you do not have to look any further than the Holley System. So easy to program form the start. John Stormshak

Sniper EFI master kit

It took months to receive my master kit, but seems well worth the wait so far. I installed the Sniper system on my 72 Plymouth with a 400 big block. Installation went fairly smooth and didn't need to purchase a whole lot more that wasn't included in the kit. The car started up the very first try after installation was complete. Runs much better so far. Throttle response is much better, and also seem to get better mpg! I would definitely consider using this system again on another car.

Converted v12 to a BLUEPRINT 355 V8 carbureted. dyno at 450+ hp, 440 torque. Had major problems starting and running. Converted to the SNIPER EFI. End of problems, runs great,looks great plus more ????hp.

I purchased a 550-510K Sniper for my CJ-7 350 Chevy short block. I’ve tried the old Projection 2 and various carbs, all with bad results. With my Sniper It runs great at any altitude, I live in Alpine Az. Which is at 8050 ft. Altitude. Even with 3.31 gears it runs strong. This is the best upgrade I have ever purchased. I would recommend the Sniper to anyone wishing to upgrade their fuel system. Also very easy to install . JJ Size Medium John M Jones PO box 514 Alpine AZ. 85920

Fantastic kit but be prepared

I just finished installing this on my 84 bronco. I am by no means a mechanic, however I can turn a wrench. Took me two full days between trips to the parts store and trips to gather little things I needed. This is worth every penny. You will struggle. You will think of giving up but in the end this is fantastic could not give it any more praise. Great job Holley.

I have installed the Fitech on a 49 Ford with a 302 and fought for a month to get it to run. The 2nd Fitech I installed was the 2X4 set up on a 29 Ford with a 454 and A blower. After many calls to fitech and 2 months of tuning I finally got it. Would NOT recommend Fitech. So I just installed the Holley sniper for the first time on a 29 Ford roadster truck with a 1956 Oldsmobile Rocket 324 engine. It was much easier to set up. Cycled the system till I got the fuel primed. Bumped the key and it fired right up. Super impressed and will be recommending these to all of our clients.

I bought this kit for my 65 Vette & was waiting for my new TKX 5 speed trans & my newly built 350 motor and my Flaming River rack & pinion set up, now that everything has arrived, I am about to install it all this week. I have a small (1 man) resto shop here in the Carolina's & wanted to have a demo car for my customers to drive to promote my shop. I have no doubt that the Holley kit was the way to go, it is complete & an easy install from all that I've read here & on other sites, thanks for the opportunity to express my opinion.

I installed this kit on my 72 Chevelle w/ a 383 Stroker. The kit was easy to install. Instructions were easy to follow. I am running a 200-4r transmission, so I needed a new throttle & TV cable bracket (Demon Carb Bracket). The only other major extra purchase was some extra fuel line for my return. I could have used the extra provided, but the way I chose to route it I did not have enough. After completing the installation the car fired right up and idled perfectly. A few days later it was 13 degrees outside. Turned the key and it fired right up. Great product.

I like all the information the display provides, I like all the tuning options available. I like there are bolt holes for square bore and spread bore intakes. The only things that are missing from this system is a place to connect the Cruise control cable and a way to control the negative wires for overdrive solenoid.

I purchased my Sniper EFI kit not too long ago and just recently had it professionally installed. The product is fantastic and the engine fires right up, however the electric fuel pump is ungodly loud. It was installed properly and on the rubber grommets but it didn't help. You can hear the pump from down the street (yes down the street). YouTube some videos on the noise it makes before purchasing and make sure you're okay with the sound. I promise it isn't something you can just drown out. Other than that the product works great!
