Overview: Turn your GTI into “Golf R power” the OEM+ way. The APR Stage 3 OEM Turbo System pairs the larger OEM Continental turbocharger from the EA888.4 LK3 engine (as found on the MK8 Golf R and Audi S3 8Y) with APR installation hardware (APR DV Conversion Kit – MS100262) and included APR Stage 3 ECU software—calibrated specifically for EA888.4 LK2 vehicles. The result is factory-like drivability and reliability with a huge jump in performance, with a Golf GTI exceeding a Golf R while retaining stock exhaust and fueling hardware. Higher Performance with ECU Software Optimization: APR Stage 3 ECU software (included) provides high- and low-torque calibrations to respect gearbox/clutch limits and your use case. DSG/S-Tronic vehicles do not require a TCU tune to run full-output files (though APR TCU software further improves acceleration and shift logic). 6MT drivers can choose low-torque files to reduce clutch stress (a clutch upgrade is recommended for higher-torque use). Files are available for multiple fuels—91/93/100/104 AKI and E60–E85 (NA) or 95/98/104/108 RON and E60–E85 (ROW)—and can be flashed via OBD-II. Already on APR Stage 1? Upgrade to Stage 3 at no additional cost with the purchase of this package. Hardware Requirements: • OEM Golf R/S3 Continental Turbocharger System (supplied within package) • Includes APR DV Conversion Kit (MS100262 – included in kit) • APR Intake System • APR Intercooler System • No hardware required for E85 support Hardware Requirements: Transmission software is not required to use full-output files. On DSG/S-Tronic equipped vehicles, the APR TCU upgrade will maximize performance and produce faster acceleration among other enhancements. For manual transmission vehicles, limited torque files will help reduce stress on the factory clutch. Recommended for higher-torque use: • APR TCU Upgrade (DSG/S-Tronic) or clutch upgrade (6MT) • Full-output and limited-torque files are available in TCU software. No modification is necessary to any exhaust components, fueling system, or sensors to achieve published figures. Purchasers of the package requiring an upgrade from existing software: Authorization code will be included in this kit, or contact APR support to Upgrade to Stage 3 at no additional cost with the purchase of this package.
