Why "Veronica"?

Believe it or not, this car named herself. Or at least she seems to have had the name before I got her!

Shortly after I purchased this car, I was driving down I-135 toward Wichita, and I was loving it. The smooth ride as she purred down the road made the experience magical. I was smiling ear-to-ear, and thinking "Wow, I am going to have to name this car." It's even possible I said it aloud. Then, for the first time ever, I reached out and turned on the original AM radio, to see if it worked.

The very first thing I heard from the speakers, as soon as I tuned it to a station was an old Elvis Costello song. "... you can call me anything you like, but my name is Veronica..."

Not even kidding.

So, her name, apparently, is Veronica. And it fits.
