New beginning

Purchased this all original 1975 stingray (except the paint) as a Father and Daughter project. Was originally a white car. Came with the bone stock 350/TH400 setup. Drove it home with no problem but it definitely needed a new life.

I quickly installed a stouter engine and had the TH400 beefed up to include a shift kit and 2800 stall converter. Even with the 3.08 highway gears, it was a blast to drive.

After driving it for a week or so I decided to update the gauges and not take the chance of relying on 40 year old factory gauges. That’s where the project really got going. The condition of the original wiring was horrible so all new wiring was needed. If I update the wiring I really should do something to update the aging interior. While I’m at it, let’s fix …..(insert every interior part). I finally ran out of parts to order thankfully!

Slowly but surely it’s going back together. Hope to have it on the road this summer!
