Holley Tech Department

So, I am looking to get 6 to 8 psi of boost from my 177, I couldnt get an answer from the tech department.... I sent them ALL the engine specs, waited two days, heard nothing from them, so I ordered a 7 inch lower pulley....

That evening, i got a reply....

Thanks for reaching out to Holley tech support. how much boost are you trying to make? if you have really good flowing heads, this will eat your boost up. this may require some testing of different pulley combinations to achieve your target boost levels.


IN THE POST I already said I wanted to make 6 to 8 lbs of boost, I gave ALL the specifications, head chamber size, Piston dish CC all of it, and that was the BS reply I got from them???? With the 7 inch pulley installed I AM NOW getting FOUR lbs of boost, so money wasted, because I cant get an answer... STILL I replied nicely on the 29th, then again on the 30th, and now its the weekend so I am pretty sure I wont hear anything until at LEAST Monday... It may be time to sell the holley/Weiand and buy an Eaton, Edelbrock, or Dyers supercharger etc.... With tech support like this I probably wont be buying ANYTHING from Holley/Weiand again. I dont need help 7 days after I ask a question, I need help NOW so i can order the parts!!!! However, I DO understand NOW isn't realistic, but I SHOULD get an answer within 24 hours.. if not??? I make sure to give bad reviews and then go someowhere else to buy my stuff. I will eventually need EFI to bolt on this... Guess which efi it will NOT be?

It is now 8/23/21, and I have not gotten a reply from the tech department, NOTHING! I do NOT recommend buying anything Holley/Weaind!!!!!!!!!!
