Long time owner, long time project

Originally bought in 1999 as a primary vehicle with the factory 305 TBI. Was the 1st date car with my wife of 18+ years. Started upgrades a bit at a time and drag raced. Eventually changed the engine to a 383 with a carburetor. Tore down in late 2006 for big plans to turbo charge and tax season at a time gathered parts until had enough components to finally complete enough of the build to get it back on the road in late 2020. Family, money and time took priority over the turbo project. It was almost sold several times along the way but was always talked out of it by my wife. Though it's not perfect and more attention in areas are needed to make it a reliable over powered cruiser and occasional drag car. Now with the car 30+ years old and far from looking like a sleeper, it gets quite a few double takes.

All the work and build was done myself minus an ATK Dart SHP 427 short block and a Monster Transmission 700R4 SS Extreme full manual reverse valve body. Additionally, since I don't have a welder or welding skills, areas that needed it were outsourced to local fabricators.
