Chevy 350 Fail

Well after resetting my valve lash for a 2nd time and as well retuning the carburetor it ran great, for about 2 weeks. I am a current junior attending Iowa State University so after that tune up I decided it was good enough to make the trek to Ames. As you can guess that did not end well, the motor ended up collapsing a lifter on cylinder 8 and had to be trailered home. Once I got it home I began the process of disassembly to get the motor and trans out and as well make it easier to clean up the engine bay for the ls swap. I am currently in the middle of getting the ls prepped with paint and modifications, and at the same time getting the broken 350 out.
