The journey

By: Brandon 02/08/2022

Originally found this car in June, 2017 when stationed at Camp Pendleton while in the Marine Corps that had been abandoned at a Sergeant's house by one of his marines who had gotten out and moved home and left it. I paid the gentleman $200 and bought a battery and snagged some fuel lines out of the local junk yard and loaded it on a trailer under its own power after sitting for 2 years.

It's an original California car! Minimal rust except passenger side floor pan from not knowing the heater core had started to leak.

I can definitely say that this car has given me quite the journey, from making an 1800 mile round trip from Arkansas to mid Texas and back to burning a hole in #1 piston on the original 2.8l v6 after 212,000 miles in November 2021. There's been some headaches along the way and I'm sure there's more to come!

Many, many future plans for this car while at the moment building an LS to swap into it and mate a TH400 behind it.
