First Time Drag Racing

First time ever drag racing - almost caught my car on fire!!

Went to the Import Alliance Fall meet 2022 at Beech Bend and had a great time. Saturday was a huge car show with a ton of cool cars. Sunday I signed up to drag race the MR2 and see what it can do. I made 3 passes, finishing with my best time of 15.9 at 85mph. Unfortunately, as I crossed the finish line and began slowing, smoke billowed from my engine bay into the cabin. A scary experience considering I have had an engine fire before with this car. Ultimately, the little 4AGE sprung a significant oil leak onto the exhaust manifold and I decided to call it a day. I limped it back to the shop and ordered some parts. MisterTwo will be back at it in no time!
