  • Vehicle Overview

1990 Chevrolet Suburban, had the original 350 TBI set up at 216k miles. The cam went flat, the TBI sucked and when new, was rated for a whopping 190HP!!! I bought this burban with the intent of proving to myself (and my wife) that we could build something twice as good and at half the cost of new. I had a 2019 Tahoe, sold it, now building this. I bought a 6.2 LS and stroked it out to 6.7. Relatively tame cam and compression at 10:1. I assembled every piece myself, so if it fails, it's all me. I've done all I can in research to sort out each piece and part to use. I pulled the original engine out. I've since cleaned up, painted, detailed, every item under the hood and under the body, frame. I've completely rewired every stitch of wire. That was three weeks alone, in my off time. Offroad design suspension. Rebuilt both axles, Dana 44 up front, Corporate 14 out back with a disc brake conversion. Running 4.56's with 35" tires. The lift is a 4" custom from Offroad Design. New 40 gal fuel tank with a Holley pump. I'm at the final stages of making it move. I did complete an engine dyno for break-in and they supplied the computer. Currently, my Holley Terminator X is back at Holley as something is not working and has yet to fire as its installed.
