1986 Ford F-150

Vehicle Overview

December 25th 1985 a Red f150 xlt lariat rolled off the factory floor and onto a truck and was shipped to Pensacola Florida, where he would sit until on January 27th 1986 where a guy named James f Lay bought him brand new, he went home with him (not much is known about his early life other then most likey he was used as a daily driver, but in October 14th 1997 My great uncle Bobby bought him for 1500 bucks, and he had 75k miles on the 302, but he ran like a champ, uncle bobby loved this truck, even a hurricane couldn't take him out, but in 2007 he passed away, but as fate would have it his younger brother Richard Haga (my grandpa) would buy him and bring him up to IL, and in bobs honor his pickup became known to the family as Mr.Bob or Old faithful. My dad would drive him occasionally and unfortunately in 2009 a lady would not look back when backing up and t-boned old bob, well the insurance wanted to total him but grandpa fought and bought him back, and he drove like he always did not a problem with him just now he wasnt as pretty and the salt on the roads were starting to get to him, but that didnt matter as he was still very much loved, then when i turned 16 grandpa handed me the keys to drive him, i did i drove him a lot till i got me a grand-am but that didnt stop me from borrowing him occasionally.... fast forward then in 2015 grandpa got diagnoised with stage 4 cancer- so grandpa told me that Mr.Bob was mine when he passed.... then in 2020 grandpa passed and Mr.Bob became mine- ive fixed all his rust and have kept him running.
