Australian 1980 FJ45R Ute Swapped 2F motor before my ownership for a Holden 253 (4.2L) V8. Fairly farmhouse conversion which is being cleaned up...slowly repairs completed: replace clutch Fix exhaust leaks Rebuild quadrajet, re-tap intake manifold carb mounting holes, replace cracked fuel pump (how this one got past the old owner i've no idea) replace starter replace points ignition with Bosch HEI. learn how to and retune engine so that it doesnt stall at idle. lived a hard life in Central Queensland originally hauling horse floats, then onto another farm, now being a daily driver.

Future Plans

In order of priority Replace suspension, New brakelines all round. Replace Cracked windshield and tint all round. Fix farmhouse wiring job. Fix fuel tank breather situation so it doesnt spew petrol all over my leg when i fill it. Remove radiator fan and replace with electric thermo fan. Replace Quadrajet and fit Sniper Quadrajet. Fix numerous oil leaks. Replace canopy. Power steering, Aircon, Cup holders, fix trim... comfort stuff.. maybe replace engine, not sure. also fixing panel work as i slowly learn how to do the repairs.
