1968-1969 Buick GS350 - LS Swap

With the initial success of the Gran Sport, Buick added several variants when the 1968 redesign occurred. Now available as the California Gran Sport, Gran Sport 350, Gran Sport 400, and eventually the Gran Sport 455, Buick had a GS for everyone. The top-of-the-line GSX offered more torque and standard equipment than any other muscle car of the era. But if you want to bring your GS into the modern era, we have everything you need to bolt a Gen III/IV LS between the framerails.

Step 1: Engine and Transmission Mounts

  • Choose from Engine Mounts that Move the Engine Slightly Forward, or Standard Mounts w/ the Bellhousing in the Same Location as the Standard Small Block
  • The Forward Mounts Are Best for Late Model Transmissions Since this Minimized Modifications to the Transmission Tunnel
  • The Standard Mounts are Best for Classic Transmissions Since the Driveshaft Can Remain Stock & They Fit Fine inside the Transmission Tunnel
  • These Mounts Fit all GM LS Engines in the 1968-1972 GM A-Body
  • Compatible with Swap Headers, Exhaust Systems, and Swap Oil Pans
  • Transmission Crossmember Works with the Following Transmissions: T56, T56 Magnum, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E, 4L80E, 4L85E, TH400, and 200R4
  • Optional Spacers are Required with Some of the Transmissions

Step 2: Oil Pans

  • The factory LS Oil Pans Don't Fit or Hang Too Low on an Engine Swap
  • LS Swap Oil Pans Provide Maximum Clearance to the Chassis and Ground
  • OE (Original Equipment) Style Fitment for Durability, Strength, and Proper Sealing
  • Choose from Natural Aluminum Casting, or Carbon Black Ceramic Finish
  • Complete Kit w/ Sump Baffle, OE Style Pickup, Drain Plug, Oil Filter Stud, and Oil Passage Cover

Step 3: Headers and Exhaust

  • Choose from Mid-Length Headers, Long-Tube Headers, or Exhaust Manifolds
  • Headers are Available in Stainless Steel or Mild Steel Construction
  • Choose from Natural Stainless or Cast Iron, Ceramic Coated, or Painted Finishes
  • 1-3/4" or 1-7/8" Primary Tube Diameter
  • Choose from 2-1/2" or 3" Dual Exhaust Systems
  • Adapter Pipes for Mid-Length, Long-Tube, and Exhaust Manifolds

Step 4: EFI Fuel Tanks

  • Factory Style Fuel Tanks with In-Tank EFI Fuel Pump Module
  • Eliminate Rust & Dirt with a New Fuel Tank
  • EFI Fuel Pump Modules Are Also Available Separately - Fits in Stock Tank

Step 5: Radiators

  • 100% TIG welded (brazed) seams
  • Billet Aluminum Filler Neck and OEM style Brass Petcock
  • Polished top and tanks for custom show appearance
  • Screw-In Inlet & Outlet - Allows Changes to Match Radiator Hose Sizes

Step 6: Accessory Drives

  • Choose from High Mount, Low Mount, or Mid Mount Accessory Drive Kits
  • Choose from Natural Aluminum, Black, or Polished Finish
