1964-1967 Buick Sportwagon - LS Swap

Buick released the Sport Wagon as a long-wheelbase version of the standard Skylark station wagon. With that wheelbase came optional third-row seating and a raised roof with skylights so the entire family could enjoy the view. While the Sportwagon might not be the prototypical muscle car, there's not much cooler than a fast wagon which is why our A-Body LS Swap systems are a perfect fit.

Step 1: Engine and Transmission Mounts

  • Choose from Forward Position or Rearward Position of Motor Mounts
  • Forward Position works best with Late Model Transmissions (i.e. T56, 4L60E through 4L80E)
  • Rearward Position works best with Classic Transmissions (i.e. 200R4 & TH400)
  • Crossmember Works with Both Style Motor Mounts
  • Crossmember Spacers are needed with Some Transmission Options

Step 2: Oil Pans

  • Factory oil pans don't fit or they hang too low on engine swaps
  • Engine swap oil pans provide maximum clearance to the chassis and ground
  • OE (Original Equipment) style fitment for durability, strength, and proper sealing
  • Choose from natural aluminum casting, carbon black ceramic finish, or fabricated sheetmetal depending on the application
  • Complete kit with sump baffle, OE style pickup, drain plug, oil filter stud, and oil passage cover

Step 3: Headers and Exhaust

  • Choose from Long-Tube or Mid-Length Headers or Cast Iron Exhaust Manifolds
  • These Manifolds, Headers are Designed to Work w/ the Swap Mounts & Swap Oil Pans
  • Headers are Available w/ 1-3/4" or 1-7/8" Primary Tubes & 3" Collectors
  • Exhaust Manifolds have 2-1/4" or 2-1/2" Collectors
  • Choose from 2-1/2" or 3" Dual Exhaust Systems
  • Adapters are Available to Connect Headers (Mid-Length or Long Tube) & Exhaust Manifolds to the Exhaust System

Step 4: EFI Fuel Tank

  • Factory Style Fuel Tanks with In-Tank EFI Fuel Module
  • Eliminate Rust & Dirt with a New Fuel Tank
  • EFI Fuel Pump Modules are Also Available Separately - Fits Inside Stock Tank

Step 5: Radiators

  • 100% TIG welded (brazed) seams
  • Billet Aluminum Filler Neck and OEM style Brass Petcock
  • Polished top and tanks for custom show appearance

Step 6: Accessory Drives

  • Choose from High Mount, Low Mount, or Mid Mount Accessory Drive Kits
  • Choose from Natural Aluminum, Black, or Polished Finish
  • Bracket Kits - Allow Reuse of Factory Components (High Mount & Low Mount)

Step 7: Terminator X and X Max

  • Standalone Plug and Play Engine Control for GM LS Engines

  • Terminator X Max - also Controls GM Automatic Transmission (4L60/4L65/4L70/4L75/4L80/4L85)
