1964-1967 Chevrolet Chevelle - LS Swap

The legendary Chevelle first saw the light of day in 1964 as Chevy's take on GM's new A-Body platform. It represented Chevrolet's first entry into the muscle car wars in Detroit. With optional small and big-block powerplants, the Chevelle was a force to be reckoned with immediately. Today, we offer the parts you need if you feel like yanking one of those old-school powerplants and replacing it with some Gen III/IV LS power.

Step 1: Engine and Transmission Mounts

  • Choose from Forward Position or Rearward Position of Motor Mounts
  • Forward Position works best with Late Model Transmissions (i.e. T56, 4L60E through 4L80E)
  • Rearward Position works best with Classic Transmissions (i.e. 200R4 & TH400)
  • Crossmember Works with Both Style Motor Mounts
  • Crossmember Spacers are needed with Some Transmission Options

Step 2: Oil Pans

  • The factory LS Oil Pans don't fit or hang too low during an engine swap
  • LS swap oil pans provide maximum clearance to the chassis and ground
  • OE (original equipment) style fitment for durability, strength, and proper sealing
  • Choose from natural aluminum casting, or carbon black ceramic finish
  • Complete kit w/ sump baffle, OE style pickup, sump plug, oil filter stud, and oil passage cover

Step 3: Headers and Exhaust

  • Choose from Long-Tube or Mid-Length Headers or Cast Iron Exhaust Manifolds
  • Headers are Available w/ 1-3/4" or 1-7/8" Primary Tubes & 3" Collectors
  • Exhaust Manifolds have 2-1/4" or 2-1/2" Collectors
  • Choose from 2-1/2" or 3" Dual Exhaust Systems
  • 304 Stainless Steel Construction - for Corrosion Resistance and Long Life
  • Adapters are Available to Connect Headers (Mid-Length or Long Tube) & Exhaust Manifolds to the Exhaust System

Step 4: EFI Fuel Tanks

  • Factory Style Fuel Tanks with In-Tank EFI Fuel Module
  • Eliminate Rust & Dirt with a New Fuel Tank
  • EFI Fuel Pump Modules are Also Available Separately - Fits Inside Stock Tank

Step 5: Radiators

  • 100% TIG welded (brazed) seams
  • Billet Aluminum Filler Neck and OEM style Brass Petcock
  • Polished top and tanks for custom show appearance

Step 6: Accessory Drives

  • Choose from High Mount, Low Mount, or Mid Mount Accessory Drive Kits
  • Choose from Natural Aluminum, Black, or Polished Finish
  • Bracket Kits - Allow Reuse of Factory Components (High Mount & Low Mount)
