Dodge's full-size truck entry received a facelift in 1980. The D100 was joined by the D150 in 1981, with the D150 eventually replacing the D100 altogether. Mechanically, nothing was broken so nothing needed fixing. Features like the independent front suspension and a litany of engine options stuck around.
