The second-generation Dakota inherited the wildly popular semi-truck-inspired design language used on the Dodge Ram of the time. Along with the new styling came Dodge's first sport truck since the Lil' Red Express. The Dakota R/T came equipped with bucket seats a limited-slip differential, 17 x 9-inch wheels, and a 5.9L Magnum V8.
