Dodge's full-size truck entry received a facelift in 1980. The W100 was joined by the W150 in 1977, with the W150 eventually replacing the W100 altogether. Mechanically, nothing was broken so nothing needed fixing. While improvements were minimal, what remained what a proven, dependable truck that was able to go toe-to-toe with its competition with a litany of engine options.
