Oldsmobile 442 - 1964-1967

Beginning in 1964, if you checked the correct boxes when ordering an Olds F-85 or Cutlass, you could end up with the legendary 4-4-2. That meant you got a four-barrel carburetor, a four-speed manual transmission, and dual exhausts. When Oldsmobile stuffed their new 400 cubic inch engine into their A-Body in 1965, the meaning changed to 400 cubic inches, a four-barrel carb, and dual exhausts.
