1973-1974 Oldsmobile Omega - LT Swap

Oldsmobile got its own X-Body variant in 1973, dubbed the Omega. It shared mechanicals with the Chevy Nova, but had Oldsmobile's signature waterfall grille design and could be optioned with a Rocket 350 cubic inch V8. Today, you can option yours with a Gen V LT engine thanks to our bolt-in swap systems.

Step 1: Engine and Transmission Mounts

  • Mount the GM Gen-V LT Engine in your 1968-1974 GM X-Body
  • Transmission Crossmember Options: 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E, 4L75E, 4L80E, 4L85E, 200R4, 700R4, Powerglide, T56, T56 Magnum, TH350, or TH400
  • Designed For Use w/ Swap Oil Pans, Headers, and Exhaust Systems Designed for This Application
  • Easy Bolt-in Installation of Your Engine

Step 2: Oil Pans

  • Factory oil pans don't fit or they hang too low on engine swaps
  • Engine swap oil pans provide maximum clearance to the chassis and ground
  • OE (Original Equipment) style fitment for durability, strength, and proper sealing
  • Choose from natural aluminum casting, carbon black ceramic finish, or fabricated sheetmetal depending on the application
  • Complete kit with sump baffle, OE style pickup, drain plug, oil filter stud, and oil passage cover

Step 4: Fuel Tanks

Step 5: Accessory Drives

  • Choose from Mid-Mount, High Mount, or Low Mount Accessory Drive Systems for Your Gen-V LT Engine
  • Choose from Natural Aluminum, Black, or Polished Finish
  • Power Steering Add-on Kits - Add Power Steering to the Factory Accessory Drive System
  • Alternator Relocation Kits - Provide Extra Clearance with the Factory Accessory Drive System
  • Race Mid-Mount Accessory Drive Systems Eliminate Air Conditioning or Air Conditioning & Power Steering

Step 6: Terminator X and X Max

  • Standalone Plug and play GM Gen V LT engine control including GDI and VVT support
  • Ideal for swapping late model GM Gen V LT engines into vintage vehicles
  • GM LT Drive-by Wire Throttle Body Control (Terminator X Max Only)
  • Built in 1bar MAP Sensor, vacuum hose adapters included (1/8th – ¼ and 3/16ths) - or for Boosted applications, you can disable the internal MAP sensor, and utilize an external LT MAP Sensor, the harness comes with the connector terminated, making the installation a snap
  • Terminator X Max - also Controls GM Automatic Transmission (4L60/4L80)
  • 4 Inputs – 12v, Ground, 5v, and Frequency, for things such as additional pressure sensors, or activation triggers for nitrous activation, or a trans brake (Fuel and Oil Pressure Inputs are pre-terminated)
