These front brake dust shields are a supporting part for the REKUDO Suspension and JL8 Brake System with RK600-02 front spindles - fits 1970-1981 Chevrolet Camaro & Pontiac Firebird. Sold in pairs. These dust shields must be used with the following parts: Front Spindles: RK600-02 (pair) Front Rotors: RK400-06 (pair) Front Wheel Bearing Hubs: RK600-01 (2 required) Front JL8 Calipers RK400-10, RK400-12, RK400-19, RK400-21, or 1968-1982 C3 Corvette Factory Style Front Calipers The 4-wheel disc brake upgrade (Corvette style 4-piston calipers for both front and rear) was offered on the 1968 Camaro as a "Heavy Duty Service" package sold through the parts counter at Chevrolet car dealers. In 1969, the 4-piston disc brakes could be ordered as a Regular Production Option (RPO) JL8 package on production vehicles. These high-end brakes were made available to support racing programs like the Sports Car Club of America® (SCCA), and Trans-Am® road racing series. This unique brake option is very rare and was only sold on about 200 production vehicles.
