Hello I have a 2008 g8 gt bone stock expect for camaro wheels and i was wondering if I buy this tune can I install it in the car then put a intake or will it mess up plus can I disable afm with this device because I want A tune that disables the afm

I bought this for my 6.0L G8. I had trouble at first because to use the flashpaq the car has to have a stock tune. But I called superchips and they fixed me up and it works good. I like how many options you can change and the code reader feature is nice too. I haven't noticed much improvement in mileage but I haven't had it long.

I’ve had this for several weeks on my 2005 Z71 Tahoe. It was super easy to install. Basically unbox, plug and play. I went ahead and done a tune up before ordering just to make sure everything was ready for the programmer. I’ve installed NGK ruthenium plugs, and 8.5 mm plug wires. Fresh fuel treatment, oil change and all. At the best I’ve went from 13.2 mpg to 13.7 mpg around town and 13.7 mpg to 14.1 mpg on the highway. Not a lot of mileage difference and that’s running between all the different programs and yes I’m running 93 octane when on the settings other than mileage plus. When in performance mode I can’t really tell much of a difference except for throttle response at 60 mph. Now towing mode it made a slightly better difference. The bottom end it will hook up and start to pull. Worth the money I’m leaning towards not really. I’m wishing I would of spent the money and bought something a little more aggressive.

Did not have all features as advertised

Only had 3 not 4 preset. Did not have tire size changer. Over all good purchase just not advertised properly.
