2014 Silverado 5.3 6 speed – I am new to this tuning world; I am used to timing lights and carburetor jets :). I have installed the 91-octane tune, AFM turned off and the throttle boost at 10%. This has definitely helped in performance and fuel mileage. What used to be an average of 14 to 16 mpg is now 18 to 21 mpg. The throttle response and performance is much appreciated.

Ive had it installed for about 2 weeks now, and I absolutely love it. The customization is awesome. Smoother acceleration, no more afm, firmer shifts. Definitely worth it. Even on the 87 tune you can tell when just driving normally how much better it runs, put it to the floor and the acceleration still has a hesitation but nowhere near what it was from the factory. Awesome product would definitely buy again.

The first unit I got would not fully boot up after updating. I called customer support and they overnight shipped me a replacement. Updated it and it worked properly. I have a 2018 Silverado 5.3L and the diablo tune really woke the truck up. I was able to turn off the AFM/DOD to keep it out of 4 cylinder mode which made a huge improvement in the way the truck feels. Fuel mileage did drop to about 21 on the highway but hey, Its a truck. I have an Acura TL if I want to get great fuel economy.Anyone on the fence should really buy this tuner IMO. It has quite a few customizable features. I've also used a Bully Dog, which seems to be better made as far as the unit itself ( the shell and operating system). But the Diablo I3 has more parameters you can adjust. I think the unit itself could be in a more durable shell and the operating system could be a little more responsive to touch input. But as I said, the unit does what its supposed to do.

I did it and I'm not the brightest crayon in the box. Initial update was only a few minutes. I really wanted to turn off the AFM and it was easy to do. I'm running e70 for fuel so I installed the Diablo tune and a firm shift on the transmission. There is a little noticeable difference in power and the firm shifting holds the gear longer when going uphill.

Like the extra power. Hard shifting 1-2 going to drive it for a while and see if this goes away. Does anyone else have this problem. Have a T1000 in my Corvette and love it. Tech support has always been good and patient with an old gear grinder like me.

I was getting 22mpg with my 2016 Colorado 3.6V6 when I bought it. Not bad in the Oklahoma wind. Then I put a 6” lift and 33” tires on it and it went to 17mpg and power was pathetic. The main reason I got the i3 tuner was diagnostic and speedo calibration. Figured let’s go ahead and download the 87 octane tune with firm trans shift while reprogramming speedo. Only been 3 weeks and up to 20.7 mpg and runs better than did before lift. Throttle response is amazing. Power is back if not better. Larger tires always lug an engine but it runs so much better than stock with factory tires ever did. The firm trans shift is amazing. Factory trans program felt lazy and unresponsive never sure what gear it wanted. I loved my truck before lift and tires. Then I installed lift and tires and thought man did I screw up. This little Chevy ain’t happy now. Now that I’ve installed the tune I love my truck again and it begs to be driven hard. Excellent job Diablosport!

Worth the money

I've put this in a 2016 2500HD 6.0 gasser. Simply done the 87 tune, adjusted for my 35s, and stiffen the shifts. The fuel mileage jumped to 16 everyday driving. Towing a 10,000 pound trailer at 9.4 if not running real hard. The get up feels a little better as well. I'm sure some of the more radical tunes in it will help even more.

Bought the i3 Platinum for my 2012 GMC Sierra strictly to turn off the AFM/DOD (Active Fuel Management/Displacement on Demand). Someone reading this might ask why. Well, with these old GM vehicles the AFM/DOD has proven over time that it will do more damage to the engine rather that help it. I also wanted to add a little more power and performance and absolutely got it with my new tune. You may be a sceptic and think ah that thing doesn’t work. I thought the same thing and am thankful that I bought this device. Now I can tune my truck or any other vehicle if I opt to purchase a license for them. Great tool. Only advice that I have for anyone looking to get one is make sure to follow the instructions. Program your device, allow it to read your vehicle and extract the current tune before trying to install anything. Also don’t mess with Parameters unless you really know what you’re doing. You Tube has some really good demonstrations of this tool. Check them out.

Great vehicle upgrade

Recently purchased the I3 to tune my 2011 2500HD with a 6.0. Truck spends most of it's time towing a gooseneck trailer. The 93 (Diablo Tune) definitely made a difference in power and fuel economy and the the trans tuning really firmed up GMs factory sluggish shifts.

awesome product ! very happy with it. 2015 silverado 5.3L - updated my device and installed the Performance/Diablo Tune, adjusted for 33" tires, turned OFF dod/afm ( 4 cylinder mode ). truck runs and drives wayyyyyyy better now ! i highly recommend this device to anyone and everyone, totally worth the price, would have bought it sooner if i knew if would make the truck drive so much better ! planning on a custom diabLEW tune asap. ( currently have k&n intake and flow master cat back exhaust )

Worth the Money

What can I say? It does what it says it’ll do. Main reason for purchase was to shut off the AFM on my 5.3 Silverado. Figured I could just disable the AFM, or I could spend a few extra bucks for a full tuner, it was a no brainer. Easy to set up with the WiFi, I was plugged into my truck and playing with the tune within 20 minutes of having it out of the box. Diablo tune turned my 2016 Silverado into a racecar, I added an AEM CAI and set it to CAI tune, leaving the TCM alone. 23-25 mpg isn’t uncommon, and I’ve even gotten close to 30. Performance and handling wise, I have a new truck all over again. Every aspect of performance has improved, and no more searching for gears while under load. My Silverado is fun to drive now. Stay away from the throttle boost on a stock vehicle, you’re just going to run into issues. Make sure you’re running the proper octane fuel, and you’ll be completely satisfied with this product. Pictures were a 100 mile trip on mostly flat roads, pulling a trailer as pictured. I’m sold!

Noticeable Difference!

I bought this to get a little better performance and for larger tires I have purchased for my 2015 Chevy Silverado Z71. Before putting the larger tires on I programmed my truck with just the 87 Octane performace mode, firm shifting, and speed limiter off and noticed a great difference right away! Better up-shifting and down-shifting through gears, better throttle response, and higher RPMs when I need it. I've been lighting up the tires that I'm about to get rid of! Will soon test the larger tire speedometer calibration!

Could have spent a little more time in development. Light and cheap feeling. Touch screen is lacking. Product does what it is supposed to do. Very pleased with the tuning. Used to delete AFM, firmer shifts, 87 octane tune. My truck finally feels like a truck.

Terrible product

I got this after reading the article on how it was used to tune my exact car. After I got my i3 tuner for GM the first thing you need to do is update the product but the WiFi won’t work which the company knew about when I called but it wasn’t online or added instructions to the prison how to get around the non functioning WiFi. I was on the phone with customer service for over an hour before I was finally able to add a tune to my car. But the next day when I tried to modify the tune the car wouldn’t start. I had to return the tuner. Save your money, $400 is to much to waste for a product that is broken right out of the box.

This made my AC colder, added bass to my stereo system and my engine run a lot better. Re-flashed for tire size and basic performance tune and the improvement is significant. Other than not being able to adjust the TPMS settings I'm pretty happy with it.

Didn't know I had to take my truck apart to use it

When I purchased this I wasn't aware that I would have to take anything on my truck apart to use it. I have 3 friends with the same type of truck and the same tuner and none of them had to do anything other then hook it up and go. I had to remove my radio in order for the tuner to read my truck and I have to unhook the radio anytime I want change anything with the tuner. The 3 trucks I mentioned all have aftermarket stereos also. Pulling a fuse for the radio isn't enough I have to remove the plug from the jumper harness to the radio for it to work.

Woke up my GMC Sierra Denali. Throttle response is better, horse power has increased. I added a custom Sm filter and case. With this tune my gas mileage improved by 2.5 mpg. Highly recommend this Diablo tune

Bought this about a month ago, and was excited when it came in. Purchased this I3 for a Silverado 1500 with a 5.3 and a 6 speed trans. Seems to be a decent tuner, but will throw System too Rich codes without the use of and aftermarket Cold Air Intake. However, I would not recommend using any of the Transmission tunes. After applying the firm shift tune, I noticed the shifting was considerably worse. Restored the backup to the TCM but that did not solve the issue. Luckily I had access to a GM Tech2 at my Chevrolet Store, and after re-flashing with the factory setting everything was back to normal. I now only use it to tune the ECM and read any codes that might come up.

Not what I expected

Device was physically as described by the seller. However, I have a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 and do not get the TCM options. Also installing all built in tunes appear to do nothing. I adjusted rev limit and other settings but my vehicle performs just as it did before the tune. Attempted to reach out to support more than once but have not heard back. Also device was not able to read a recent check engine light.

Having trouble getting registered. The wifi feature does not work on my device either. I had to plug it up and update it from my computer. seems like its working like its supposed to. its definitely got some increase in throttle response, sound, and gas mileage. just wish I could get all the features it advertises.

I bought my Intune I3 about a month ago. I finally got around to putting a tune on my 2011 Silverado about a week ago. I wish I had bought it sooner, the difference was night and day. The I3 is very user friendly, I had no issues updating tuner or installing a tune on my truck. Well worth the money!

Great, quick delivery. Diablosport said that the 93 octane tune would add 50 hp and 60 ft lbs. I can feel that for sure. When I stay out of the throttle and baby it, it's pretty mild. But get on it, and it's a beast. The pull on the top end is STRONG. The firm shift is great also. A+

Capable tool, but lacks user options

I bought this thinking I could make several adjustments to the engine and transmission control units. While the unit is capable of this, it requires the use of special software that only "dealers" have access to. For the money, I expected a little more end user control. This, however, seems to be the unfortunate trend in the vehicle tuning market. I was able to turn off the engines active fuel management (displacement on demand), which is worth every penny I spent on the unit so I have no regrets. Physically, it feels cheap and is much smaller than I anticipated. The display quality is sub-par. In the future, I will probably go with an open-source tuning platform. If you're not knowledgeable in the world of engine tuning or just need to make basic changes, this is probably the best way to go. Advanced users should look elsewhere.

So far I've disabled the AFM and only done the economy 87 tune, and increased throttle truck seams to be peppier and gas mileage did go up 1-2mpg can't complain about that running 33's on it. So I'm happy with it

Not plug and play

Decided to tune my lazy feeling 2017 GMC 2500HD with 6.0 gas and 6 speed. The unit reminds me of and older iphone and seems to have been drop shipped to me with nothing it needed to back up the claims by diablo for my truck. Spent hours initially trying to perform updates and tune my truck, couple times i was sure i had caused damage to my ECM. The Ignition software just stays in a revolving update circle that never seems to finish. Customer support is pretty good, and mandatory to eventually fight this thing into cooperating. So about 2.5 weeks of back and forth with tech support i finally have a tune for both ECM and TCM that does work well. I got this tuner because it was on sale, and now im feel comitted to run it because of the hours i spent.

Not much bang for the buck

Installed exactly per instructions and have driven over 500 miles since installation. Easy installation and user friendly software but I’m seeing no difference in gas mileage and no noticeable difference in drivability except for a firmer shift. I wasn’t expecting a completely different truck but for the money I was expecting some difference.

I purchased this product, install in in my truck about 2 months ago, it been a disaster from the very beginning, lighting up all lights on dash board when you push the engine, 2 days ago I step on the accelerator, passing a trailer on the road, it responded in the beginning, once I let go of it it misfire twice and noe every time,the engine switches from V8 to V4 makes a click and I hear knocking on my engine, I'm worried about it, I need to contact this company and ask what is wrong with it, is it going to ruin my engine, what to do, I should never buy this product, do not buy it is not worth it!!!

The i3 did everything great. I was able to experiment with different preset tunes, shifting pressure, AFM on or off and even return to all the factory settings on a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. I know very little about turning and the i3 made it very easy to figure out what tune worked best for this truck. I use the 91, firm shift and AFM on. That seems to be really good for extra power and economy.

Great tool, great support. Contacted Diablew for custom tune and wow what a difference from the can tune. Also pass smog test. My last review I wrote about a surge in rpm. The surge is due to my Torque Converter not the tuner. Diablew is not affiliated with Diablo Sport but can give custom tunes if needed. I hope Diablo Sport cracks the code on the transmission module soon. Data logging is very easy and straight forward. Easy to send off for custom tune adjustments. Easy to use. I used it to turn off AFM and Diablo Tune. I can really tell a positive change in power. Had tune for 4 months and reset to stock for a dealer visit. It worked great and was very easy. The only issues I have with it is a bug with disabling AFM. If you set "YES" to disable it does not. You have to set it to "NO" to disable AFM. And the engine pulsates very slight (25-50 rpm or so) on the highway. When I returned to stock for my dealer visit the engine pulsate stopped. It is noticeable but worth having AFM turned off. As of my last update 4/2018 the AFM bug is not addressed yet. When I reinstall the tune in July I will update I3 and see if the bugs have been fixed. George

this thing kicks butt. a was happy right away but now it has been a few days and 200 miles later. its doing better now than the day I installed it , the "Diablo tune". .....1st gear to 2nd gear would chirp or Bark the tires ( stock or no tune) first day of install it would fish tail 3-4 times when shifting from 1st to 2nd (big and noticeable difference ).....now that it has been 150 miles +(since Diablo tune was installed) when it shifts from 1st to 2nd it doesn't even slow down you can hear it shift but just continues to lay down a tire shredding burnout thru 2nd gear , wow!!! pretty peppy!!!! 2002 formula 95000 miles original stock. automatic.....….

Bought the i3 for my 2010 Yukon Denali. It really woke up the aluminum 6.2 with the mid tune and firm trans shifts. Gained a mile per gallon if I keep my foot out of it. You have to delete afm through advanced settings. Devise never did find my wifi. I was able to update through my laptop and downloaded software. It found my i3 and updated. You can purchase other licenses for other vehicle mods through this same software.

I recently purchased the Diablo i3 sport tuner about two ago. I'm mad at myself because I should have bought this product a long time ago for my truck had I known how great it was going to be. My truck has a 10-in lift kit with 24x14 wheels on 37'in tires. Before I use the Diablo tuner my truck was only getting 12 miles at the most a gallon. Now that I've used just the basic tune and added in the tire upgrade my truck is now getting 15 mpg city and 22 mpg highway. That's basically almost like factory again like if my truck doesn't even have all this on it. I've also noticed that it does perform better and have increased the horsepower it just completes my truck since it already has a cold air intake and a custom exhaust. Highly recommend this product.

I have done three programs with this tuner.. basic easy tune was easy to navigate and has no noticable drivability changes... Installed on 6.0 Chevy 2500hd.. I used the Diablo tune and modified a few peramiters. First attempt was to see what the extent of adj. Can be made to transmission shifting... Struggling to get the TCC adj. That I was hoping for, don't know if it's just me or if adj, is not available.. however shift points based off speeds can be ramped up (or shortened) for firm shift with factory 410 gears and 33" bfg's won't chirp tires but, does provide a firm shift that is uncomfortable for daily commute... I'm still playing with different adjustments and likely plan to have a professional tune done through the function on the Platinum device, but, waiting on that for now till I get engine mods I intend to add.. heads, cam, etc.. in future.. Abbreviations of aren't user friendly if your not used to lingo, I am a certified automotive technician and was stumped and had to Google some acronyms.... Think I got them figured out now.. I want to be able to adj TCC engagement, was hoping to adj. For TPS or load ratio.. I have issues with TCC not engaging until above 70 mph since before I installed tune..

I’m not happy as I thought I would be with this unit It looks as if I was given an old unit, can’t disconnect cable. It doesn’t turn off speed limiter. It doesn’t allow control of throttle to increase sensitivity. I am sure it turned off my AFV and I can see the use of more fuel. Maybe a increase in power maybe. Thoughts more on returning it.

We didn't know and when we didn't heard anything for a few days, we called and found out. This was Wednesday before Christmas, so we were ready to cash it in. I bought the i3 platinum for my ‘13 Silverado to make some ecm adjustments. I wanted to turn off the AFM. Then I adjusted the cooling fan parameters for towing. I need them to come in sooner than factory which is 235 sending my trans to 253. Haven’t towed yet to see them come on though. Easy to use. I installed the 87 can tune. The logging is good, it shows the difference between the i3 numbers and the trucks gauges which are really off around 13 degrees. Other than that, the customer support is excellent. Mike L. who went through a lot before I made the purchase. I bought right from the factory for that service. Other than that I’ll have to report back after I pull my camper and log the numbers to compare with stock runs.

Bought the i3 intune platinum about a month ago. Needed it for the afm problem in many gm 5.3 models. I was able to tune out the afm system and also modify my shift points to cure a confused tranny. My only concern I have is that I have no PIDs on the device and so I cannot log with it without a laptop.

The things I didn’t like were the obd2 cord doesn’t come off like stated also won’t connect to WiFi the touch screen is laggy as to where I have to hit the choice multiple times to register. I originally got the i3 platinum for my 2003 Silverado SS and it worked great. I just purchased an additional GM license for my 2013 Cruze 1.4l turbo. The performance on the cruze is definitely noticable and WELL worth the $150. I'll be getting the SS custom tuned for sure once additional modifications are made.

I installed the canned 87octane tune and corrected my tire size/speedometer on a 2012 5.3 Silverado 4x4. The truck is noticeably more responsive at part throttle and highway speeds. The real world MPG went from 15.5 to 17 with the AFM turned off. Overall, the truck is much more enjoyable to drive on a daily basis and I am happy with the results.

Tried to use out of the box to tune 2002 Corvette (base model, essentially stock). About half of the "modifiable" parameters were unavailable. Spent well over an hour on phone with tech, who was VERY helpful, and after two or three software updates (or software revision changes?), we seemed to solve most of the missing capability problems (that I was interested in anyway). However, he had to refer one of the unsolvables (inability to adjust or turn off torque management) to an "engineer". That was on August 1st. Haven't heard anything back or gotten any e-mail updates since then. As for the tune and modifications that I WAS able to load into the car, I'm generally happy with the results. Just not 100% ..... yet.

Purchased to Disable AFM and kick up the throttle response. Pre loaded tunes aren’t very noticeable but the transmission tunes are just horrible no matter what adjustments are made. Best to have a custom tune loaded (hopeful it will make a difference) otherwise its just another handheld with options. Read a lot of good reviews prior to purchasing but out of the box has me feeling otherwise.

Just like most people, I searched the internet, joined forums, called 4x4 shops and watched YouTube videos to make an informed decision on what tuner would work the best for me. After countless hours researching the pros and cons of each major brand of tuners, I decided to go with the Diablo i3. I own a 2015 Chevy Silverado LT with a 7" suspension lift on 37's and I needed a tuner that would calibrate for tire size and give me options to adjust for fuel economy and better shifting. The unit itself is idiot proof as long as you know how to read and follow instructions. You just plug and play and in no time you're on the road feeling the difference. I opted for the 91 Octane Tune, Calibrated for tire size, turned off the ECOTEC3 feature and my truck came alive! Right of the bat, I noticed better shifting and quicker acceleration! As far as gas mileage, well I run 37's so I am happy with the additional 2 mpg increase which averages out to 17mpg. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and to those looking for an easy way to optimize the performance of their vehicle!

Bought this for my 11 Colorado. It is easy to use but could be better. Always displays parameters in metric. Can't see English values until the record is opened in the dateviewer. Buying the platinum I thought I could adjust things like throttle response. Support could be a lot better. Called 4 times. One person was very helpful, the other 3 answered only my specific question and offered no additional help suggested.

I bought the intune i3 platinum. I purchased the platinum so I could data log and get custom tunes. The instructions tell you to plug in to a pc and open certain files, which i did but nothing happen. I had to search multiple forms to figure out how to get the software. Once i did put the 87 octane tune on my truck the only difference i see is shift point. My truck idles at such a low rpm now i have had it stall on me multiple times. Before i placed the tune i had the gears redone on my truck. I had alot of low end, after i put the tune on i have no power down low. I have no more power in the high rpms either. I have also done alot more highway miles since my purchase, and MPG has gone down to without me having a heavy foot.I was not satisfied with this purchase.

I received the i3 in perfect condition. No problems tuning my truck (2007 Silverado 1500 5.3L). Have tried several of the tunes and have tweaked the parameters to my liking. Main reason I purchased the inTune was to rid myself of the nuisance known as AFM, which was easy enough to do. My only complaint, so far, is that I won't scan my other truck's DTC's. The inTune is supposed to be able to scan any vehicle (even if it's not 'married' to said vehicle) but will not scan my 2004 Silverado 2500 HD 6.6L. It just sticks on the "Please Wait" screen.

Bought this to shut off active fuel management, and for whatever horsepower increase it could give. I additionally have pedal commander in my truck. Without the pedal commander the truck feels wayyyy too slow, even with the "Diablo tune", so I set the pedal commander back up and this is how the truck should feel from the factory! The 2 combined really make a very noticeable difference. I wouldn't go back for anything. My truck is a 2011 silverado LT with the all aluminum 5.3L with afm and vvt. I had so many problems with afm, im considering replacing all of the (brand new) afm lifters with solid lifters to never have a problem again.

Got this last night and tuned my '16 Silverado 5.3L. I must say that I am enjoying the results so far. It does what it says it will do. However... I do have a few criticisms. The reviews stating that the unit looks & feels cheap, it absolutely does. The touch screen is low quality, low resolution, poorly calibrated and barely responsive, the processing speed when just switching menus is incredibly slow and leaves you wondering if it registered that you actually (very firmly) pushed on the screen. The UI (user interface) is an absolute un-intuitive mess and the only "user manual" provided is a 'quick start' guide, nothing more. Without any clear instructions on how to use this device/what it can actually do, you are left to figure it out yourself or scour the forums for answers which are not there. Lastly the OBDII cable is now non-removable/permanently attached to the device. There may be a good reason for this but it is not as-advertised and limits storage options. For ~$400.00, this should easily be a much higher-quality, better-designed & user-friendly tool, worthy of a 5 star review. I'm being generous in giving it 3. At the time of this review I haven't decided if it's worth $400 to keep it or if I will return for refund.

I can turn a wrench and work on my truck, but I don’t know the first thing about computers and tuning. The DiabloSport inTune i3 is super easy to use for simple tunes that are preloaded, and to make little changes like gear ratios for larger tires and eliminating the factory speed limiter. I’ve only used mine to turn off AFM to save my lifters (2008 Silverado 5.3L) and it very easy and straightforward. I’ve read that customer support for these products is also killer, so even if you don’t know what you’re doing, you’ll be able to find out how with the help they offer!

After dealing with the confused new transmissions in the silverado i finally decided it was time to try this out. I had read other reviews on how it improved the shifting. It definitely improves it. It improves power also, i notice that i don't have to put my foot in it as much to drive the same speed i always do. I gained at least 2 mpg also. I tow a small trailer with SXS and don't even need to put it in tow mode now.

Purchased this in hopes of disabling my afm on my 2012 Silverado and a light tune. The 87 diablo tune makes the trans shifts so hard I think it's about to rip the mounts out. Even after selecting "do not change trans ecm". Tuner constantly freezes. Horrible customer support, emailed them January 2021 and it's now march of 2021 with no response. Save your money and get something else.

I purchased this unit about a month ago solely for the ability to re-map my transmission line pressure(Typical 8 speed problems), and speed sensor for larger wheels/tires. So far, the basic written tunes provided by Diablo have been flawless, and have been yielding better (than stock) MPG with noticeable power gains starting at the pedal. As for the common DIY tuning platform, this unit is the perfect starting point for improving drive-ability, and performance. Bought this tuner when I needed to replace my engine. All I was looking to do is disable the DOD and maybe add a little better peddle response. Wow! Of course I started with the Advanced Diablo Tune High Octane I wanted to see what this could do. Keep in mind I replaced the engine with a relatively stock reman. So after playing the Diablo tune for a while I decided to go down to easy tune as fuel prices are surely going to rise. I just went with the Easy 87 tune, DOD disable and firm shifts. O my! Tahoe runs and pulls like I never could have believed. My theory is the 87 tune is more inline with my stock engine and CAM setup. I am very please with the unit so far.

More fuel efficiency, better shifting, and being able to adjust the idle and speedometer. This did it all. MPG increased from 12.8 and after four tanks of gas it’s now 14.5. Great product.

‘08 GMC Sierra, 5.3… All stock. I should have done this years ago. I got a mild improvement in horsepower and torque, but the truck is so much more drivable than it was. Most of the delayed throttle response is gone, quicker in town, and so much better on the freeway. I didn’t buy the Diablo to improve gas mileage, I just wanted the truck to perform better, and it does. I was really surprised that my gas mileage improved… Even with my foot really into it, I got another two mpg. Turn of the AFM; it’s horrible. It was doing me absolutely no favors. I was anxious about it, but the install was super simple. About 10 minutes effort to make the truck worth keeping.

So initially the tuner didn't do what I wanted. I updated it before tuning my truck as per the instructions, then tuned the truck. It definitely had more power but there was no change to the transmission and upon getting on the highway discovered that the speed limiter was still in place. So I updated again, returned, and BAM!!!! Everything I had hoped for. Afm/dod deactivated, speed limiter deactivated, much firmer shifts, later shifts, and the 93 octane diablo tune really blew my mind. Everything I hoped for and more. Thanks for the great product.

Easy install, well worth the price. I put a k&n cold air, borla atak, removed the transmission thermostat, and then uploaded the 93 octane tune. I pull a 35 foot coachman trailer with a 2018 silverado 1500. When I say night and day. I really mean it

Less Than Expected

I first used the 87 Octane tune & didn't really notice anything. I then put the DiabloTune plus TCM firm shift on my 07 Avalanche & started back using e85 that's when I noticed a little difference but still less than expected, especially for the price. But maybe it'll be different with a custom tune.

Works as advertised

Pleased with my diablo i3 platinum for GM, very easy to tune truck with it. Used 87 octane canned tune and firm shift for trans , also turned off DOD. Truck shifts better and will burn rubber when it catches second gear. Would recommend if you want rid of DOD and add a little power to your ride.

Does what I wanted

I have a 2011 Silverado with the 4.8 with bolt ones.The intune i3 added some noticeable power and had the other options I wanted. This meant my needs.

Horrible experience so far

Instructions are non existent. Can only find the same quick start guide. Unit would not connect to wifi. Tech support only available via online request. Got an email days later sayin "we're working on a fix, should have it in a few weeks". Tuner freezes up when I try to change shift parameters. Totally unimpressed. I'm beginning to think I may have a bad tuner. I'll amend my review if Diablo makes it right but jury is still out.

Simple to use

Bought the InTune I3 and am very pleased with how easy it was to use and program my truck. I like the option of adding additional licenses and the code reader as well. My only negative is that the program to make custom tunes is not available for the end user.

The way it should come from the factory

Corrected shifting. Corrected trans lag. Corrected high speed overdrive issue. Corrected tire size. Definitely has more pickup and throttle response. Speedometer is exactly right. Great product for my uses. Understand first it's not going to turn your Silverado into a Corvette. I see a lot of complaints like that. It did exactly what I needed it to. Successfully turns off dod/afm, speed limiter, and I installed the 87 tune. Trucks runs like it's supposed to my personal opinion. Throttle response is better it picks up a little quicker plus don't have to worry about dropping a cylinder caused by dod/afm. Overall very happy. Side note didn't mess with the transmission. And surprisingly it doesn't shift as often like it used too if you live on a dirt road you'll know what I'm talking about.
