Bought in 1989, Dan Kuhn’s 1972 Ford Maverick started life as a bench seat, 6-cylinder equipped ride. He promptly dropped a proper V8 between the shock towers and went racing. Today, the car packs a 600hp Windsor V8 and we caught up with him competing at Holley’s Intergalactic Ford Festival in the Grand Champion class.
