Putting it Back Together

I've had this truck since I was 16 years old. It's been fixed and broken several times. It usually stays together for a few years before I break something. Well, last year, I really did it in. My buddy and I went to Rocky Mountain Raceweek 2.0. On track #1 we heard what we thought was a tap on start up. So, what does every sensible grown man do? Yep, you guessed it, SEND IT. Well about 5,200 rpms and 1000ft into the run, I hear it let go. So, I let off the gas and coast into the turn road. Yep, you guessed it. Rod went to knocking and the block obliged and opened up a hole for mister rod.

That was September 2021. Get home. Motor gets pulled; new block gets found... lots of other details and dramas between engine stuff and tooque converter stuff.

But, here today on April 8th, We're Putting it Back Together !
