Digging Up the Past

I was just digging through some old boxes of goodies and came across these few photos shortly after we brought the Jeep home and started tearing into it. The original 4 cylinder motor getting ready to be ripped out of this frame and hauled off to never never land. I honestly don't know what happened to the old motor or transmission, but at the time I didn't care, I was a kid and just couldn't wait to help Dad with anything and everything that i could!
