Vehicle Overview

My father bought this new car for my mom when I was 13. I instantly fell in love and enjoyed riding in it from the start. My dad had strict rules that us four kids could not drive this car ever. When I found the spare keys one day when my parents weren’t home I couldn’t resist the temptation of taking it for a spin. It was a ride I’ve never forgotten and little did I know at that time I would be the proud owner 17 years later of the 180,000 mile beauty. She needed a complete restoration as the body was beautiful but the mechanicals were shot and that’s when I knew I was going to resto mod it in 1997 with the support and sometimes even physical help of my beautiful wife. It’s been a work I progress the entire time and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it; from teaching my kids to drive in it, to going out to the local drag strip with my son and his Camaro Z28 and racing each other. There’s many more stories and many more to come. .
