1978-1987 Buick Regal - LT Swap

In terms of pure performance, the Buick Regal probably doesn't rank highly on most people's lists. However, it was built on the versatile G-Body platform, allowing various engine swaps and a litany of performance parts to bolt right in. This includes bolting in GM's newer Gen V LT engines, and we'll show you what you need below.

Step 1: Engine and Transmission Mounts

Step 2: Oil Pans

  • Factory oil pans don't fit or they hang too low on engine swaps
  • Engine swap oil pans provide maximum clearance to the chassis and ground
  • OE (Original Equipment) style fitment for durability, strength, and proper sealing
  • Choose from natural aluminum casting, carbon black ceramic finish, or fabricated sheetmetal depending on the application
  • Complete kit with sump baffle, OE style pickup, drain plug, oil filter stud, and oil passage cover

Step 7: Terminator X and X Max
