1987 Chevrolet R10 - LS Swap

The 3rd Generation C10 was a clean-sheet redesign that lasted GM 15 years. Like its predecessor, the Square-Body C10 featured optional small and big-block V8s that make this one of the most versatile bases for your build. Step 1: Engine and Transmission Mounts

  • Choose From Standard or Premium Engine Mounts for Your Engine Swap in the 1973-1987 Chevy C10/20 2-wheel drive trucks
  • Standard Mounts Are for GM LS Engine Swaps
  • Premium Mounts Are for GM LS or GM Gen-V LT Engine Swaps (Allows Future Engine Change to LS or LT by Using Different Clamshell Component)
  • Transmission cross-members work with the following transmissions: T56, T56 Magnum, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E, 4L80E, 4L85E, and 6L80 - Choose the Appropriate Crossmember for Your Desired Transmission

Step 2: Oil Pans

  • Factory oil pans don't fit or they hang too low on engine swaps
  • Engine swap oil pans provide maximum clearance to the chassis and ground
  • OE (Original Equipment) style fitment for durability, strength, and proper sealing
  • Choose from natural aluminum casting, carbon black ceramic finish, or fabricated sheetmetal depending on the application
  • Complete kit with sump baffle, OE style pickup, drain plug, oil filter stud, and oil passage cover

Step 3: Headers and Exhaust

  • Exhaust Manifolds Work with Both the Standard and Premium Engine Mounts
  • Choose the Headers for Standard or Premium Engine Mounts
  • Exhaust Systems Available in 304 or 409 Stainless Steel, 2-1/2" or 3" Tube Diameter, and Side or Rear Exit

Step 4: Radiators

  • 100% TIG welded (brazed) seams
  • Billet Aluminum Filler Neck and OEM style Brass Petcock
  • Polished top and tanks for custom show appearance

Step 5: EFI Fuel Tanks

  • Factory Style Fuel Tanks with In-Tank EFI Fuel Pump Module
  • Eliminate Rust & Dirt with a New Fuel Tank
  • EFI Fuel Pump Modules Are Also Available Separately - Fits in Stock Tank

Step 6: Swap Accessories

  • Drive By Wire Accelerator Pedal Bracket fits 1973-1987 C10
  • Use with 145-160 Pedal or GM # 19417903 (C6 Corvette Pedal)
  • Black Powder Coated Finish
