1987 Chevrolet R10 - LS Swap

The 3rd Generation C10 was a clean-sheet redesign that lasted GM 15 years. Like its predecessor, the Square-Body C10 featured optional small and big-block V8s that make this one of the most versatile bases for your build. Whether you're autocrossing, drag racing, or just cruising, the C10 can get it done. If your plans include retrofitting a late-model GM LS engine, Holley has the parts to get it done.

Step 1: Engine and Transmission Mounts

  • Choose From Standard or Premium Engine Mounts for Your Engine Swap in the 1973-1987 Chevy C10/20 2-wheel drive trucks
  • Standard Mounts Are for GM LS Engine Swaps
  • Premium Mounts Are for GM LS or GM Gen-V LT Engine Swaps (Allows Future Engine Change to LS or LT by Using Different Clamshell Component)
  • Transmission cross-members work with the following transmissions: T56, T56 Magnum, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E, 4L80E, 4L85E, and 6L80 - Choose the Appropriate Crossmember for Your Desired Transmission

Step 2: Oil Pans

  • Factory oil pans don't fit or they hang too low on engine swaps
  • Engine swap oil pans provide maximum clearance to the chassis and ground
  • OE (Original Equipment) style fitment for durability, strength, and proper sealing
  • Choose from natural aluminum casting, carbon black ceramic finish, or fabricated sheetmetal depending on the application
  • Complete kit with sump baffle, OE style pickup, drain plug, oil filter stud, and oil passage cover

Step 3: Headers and Exhaust

  • Exhaust Manifolds Work with Both the Standard and Premium Engine Mounts
  • Choose the Headers for Standard or Premium Engine Mounts
  • Exhaust Systems Available in 304 or 409 Stainless Steel, 2-1/2" or 3" Tube Diameter, and Side or Rear Exit

  • 100% TIG welded (brazed) seams
  • Billet Aluminum Filler Neck and OEM style Brass Petcock
  • Polished top and tanks for custom show appearance

  • Eliminate Rust & Dirt with a New Fuel Tank
