Vehicle Overview

My 1983 Chevy Impala was purchased new in 1983 by my grandparents. It has been in my family all this time. I still drive it from time to time and it has 154k miles on it. I really enjoy driving this car because the experience is so much different than a modern car. I like the float! It's the type of car meant for open highway driving and a long trip to see America.

Future Plans

If I ever have the money, a new engine would be nice. However, what engine? How do I remain emissions compliant? An LS would be the best choice, but then there are a whole number of upgrades that need to occur.
