1968-1972 Pontiac Lemans - LS Swap

Like all of GM's other A-Body vehicles, the Lemans got a fresh makeover in 1968 that carried through 1972. Along the way, its 350 cubic inch engine was bumped up to 330 hp while its 400 and 455 cubic inch siblings became optional powerplants even without the GTO nameplate. In addition to those powerplants, you can now drop in a Gen III/IV small block with our LS swap systems.

Step 1: Engine and Transmission Mounts

  • Choose from Engine Mounts that Move the Engine Slightly Forward, or Standard Mounts w/ the Bellhousing in the Same Location as the Standard Small Block
  • The Forward Mounts Are Best for Late Model Transmissions Since this Minimized Modifications to the Transmission Tunnel
  • The Standard Mounts are Best for Classic Transmissions Since the Driveshaft Can Remain Stock & They Fit Fine inside the Transmission Tunnel
  • These Mounts Fit all GM LS Engines in the 1968-1972 GM A-Body
  • Compatible with Swap Headers, Exhaust Systems, and Swap Oil Pans
  • Transmission Crossmember Works with the Following Transmissions: T56, T56 Magnum, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E, 4L80E, 4L85E, TH400, and 200R4
  • Optional Spacers are Required with Some of the Transmissions
