  • Vehicle Overview

I’ve owned a few 60s cars from a 1963 oldsmobile cutlass, a 63 Nova, and a 67 Dart. I’ve owned several European monsters from NA strait 6s to twin turbo highway predators that made my police buddy question if he would even chase me let alone keep up. I’ve also owned several B Bodies, G Bodies, Jeeps, and Japanese cars that were all fun and great in their own way. I’ve customized them all, and all were a learning experience as for what I like, what works, and what is just a stupid decision. Having said all that, In my opinion the G Body Malibu is the last Chevy that truly embodied what the first muscle car platforms were about. They were a mid sized, square, body on frame, comfortable, rear wheel drive automobile that you can shove any size engine into and make them into a monster. The G Body Malibu is one of the few cars that every car enthusiast can appreciate. From your muscle car fanboy, to diehard drag racer, lowrider, big rim rider, all will that The Bu is an American classic. With the C Body platform, specifically the Malibu, GM just got it right. My love for classic American steel and muscle combined with my love for European pure driver’s cars with handling made me chase this build. So here’s my baby as I try to make her into my dream car. Hope you enjoy, life’s to short to drive a boring ride My IG is ajtonly1 if you want to ask me questions 454 NA Concept Performance LSR Aluminum Block Callies/Compstar Full CCW 4340 Forged Steel Crank w/58T Reluctor Wheel Callies/Compstar 4340 6.125" H-Beam Forged Steel Rods w/ARP 2000 Bolts Clevite 77 "H" Series Main & Rod Bearings Custom Wiseco 2618 Forged Aluminum Pistons w/Coated Skirts 1.2/1.2/3.0 MM GFX Steel Ring Set SSRE/Comp Cams Custom Hydraulic "Street Roller" Camshaft Hi-Rev Hydraulic Roller Lifters Rollmaster Billet Timing Set w/IWIS Chain AFR Mongoose 260 Fully CNC Ported LS3 Aluminum Heads PAC Racing Hydraulic Roller Springs w/Titanium Retainers ARP High Performance Head Bolt Kit GM LS3 Rocker Arms w/Bushing Trunion Kit Chromemoly 3/8 .080" Wall Pushrods Cometic MLS Head Gaskets Edelbrock Super Victor 4500 Aluminum Intake Melling Race Prepped Oil Pump Moroso Street/Strip 7 Quart Welded Steel Oil Pan GM Aluminum Front Cover GM Aluminum Rear Cover w/Seal ATI Super Damper SFI Harmonic Balancer Holley Polished Aluminum Valve Covers w/Coil Bosses Complete Assembly Internally Balanced Wegner WAK033 Accessory drive system -Tick Performance Ultimate Road Race Tremec Magnum -Tilton T246 twin disc clutch -Tilton 6000 series hydraulic release bearing -Moser M9 rear end -Moser 35 Spline axles -Aluminum Case -Aluminum Daytona Pinion Support -WAVETRAC High Friction plate LSD -Wilwood Dynapro 6 piston 12.19 front discs drilled & slotted -Wilwood Dynalite 4 piston 12.19 rear drilled & Slotted -Ridetech Complete Coilover Suspension w/ Fox shocks -UMI Front Reinforcement Brace -UMI Rear Shock Tower Brace -QA1 Trailing Arm Adjustable Rear Frame Support -Detroit Speed driveshaft safety loop/tunnel brace -Detroit Speed Steering Shaft -Borgeson Quick Ratio 12.7:1 Steering Box -New spindles -New steering kit -Nitto tires 245 front 265 rear (should have gone 275-295 -Wheels Ridler 695 22x9 front 22x10.5 rear -notched frame with UMI notching kit -gone over stock 305 (for now) sold all my other cars, it's my daily driver new alternator, AC, and starter lol

    Future Plans

The engine and transmission are being swapped in the next couple weeks. I am waiting for the trans to be powder coated. After that in the next month, I plan on switching the interior over to black and alcantara along with a stereo installation. Paint is planned in the next year, after I repaint the Yukon and finish the Nova too
